Obsessed with old proverbs and idioms, and also with experimentation. I work a lot with vowel sounds and the phonetics of words as I would say them. I think rhyme can make a poem seem silly, or very serious. I have a lot of my own poetry concepts, but mainly I try to bring out emotions that we don't have names for, and write about things that a lot of people think about, but don't speak of. I also try to write in an abstract/realist style that twists the tongue and the mind.
